Artista, poeta. Licenciada en Artes Visuales y Plásticas en el Instituto Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, (Montevideo, Uruguay). Máster con Distinción en instalación y técnicas gráficas en el Kask Conservatorium, Hogent (Gante, Bélgica). Ha incursionado en el mundo de la ilustración, la animación 2d y el diseño de escenografías para teatro en reiteradas ocasiones. Es la artista más joven en exponer individualmente en el Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales de Montevideo. Ha sido merecedora de varios premios, becas y residencias internacionales.
Actualmente realiza un doctorado en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid sobre los efectos silenciosos de la violencia sobre terceras generaciones y como el arte deviene una herramienta de digestión y supervivencia; mientras paralelamente continúa con la creación de obra, mezclando técnicas tradicionales con tecnología digital.
Su trabajo gira en torno a la relación entre memoria, migración e historia. Cómo la historia es una construcción que parte de elecciones, cómo la migración es relativa al ser humano y modifica las relaciones sociales, y cómo la memoria existe para relacionarnos y poder vincularnos desde un lado humano. La destrucción de la guerra y sus secuelas se hace patente en gran parte de mi producción artística.

Artist, poet. Graduated in Visual Arts from the National School of Fine Arts Institute, (Montevideo, Uruguay). She graduated with Great Distinction in installation and graphic techniques at the Kask Conservatorium, Hogent (Ghent, Belgium). He has ventured into the world of illustration, 2d animation and theater set design on several occasions. She is the youngest artist to exhibit individually at the Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales in Montevideo. She has been the recipient of various international awards, scholarships, and residencies.
She is currently doing a doctorate at the Complutense University of Madrid on the silent effects of violence on third generations and how art becomes a tool for digestion and survival; while in parallel she continues with the creation of work, mixing traditional techniques with digital technology.
Her artistic work revolves around the relationship between memory, migration, and history. How history is a construction that starts from choices, how migration is relative to the human being and modifies social relationships, and how memory exists to relate and be able to link us from a human side. The destruction of war and its aftermath is evident in a large part of my artistic production.
