Los blabladores [2023]
Este dúo de artistas argentinos viven y trabajan en Bilbao desde 2019. Mediante su trabajo registran e investigan distintos movimientos de identidades juveniles disidentes del underground tanto actual como del pasado, atravesando sus diferentes formas de evolucionar y de contradecirse en el tiempo, a la vez que analizan cómo estas subculturas luchan por sostenerse y reinventarse.
A través de la fotografía, pintura, dibujo, performance e instalación, indagan en movimientos como el punk, la cultura queer y skater, realizando obras donde se entrecruzan las distintas miradas de los jóvenes, que se apropian de las calles y se manifiestan en la sociedad de manera crítica.
Lejos de una visión naturalista, no solo se interesan en un registro documental de la parte histórica de estos movimientos, sino que en primera persona y desde un lugar que juega entre lo bizarro y lo sarcástico, nos acercan a las pequeñas historias surgidas de las amistades que entablan en los skateparks de las ciudades visitadas.
Los iconos punk y de los noventa son protagonistas de su obra, como Larry Clark, Ed Templeton, Harmony Korine o Eloy de la Iglesia. Éstos conviven en su imaginario con personajes del cómic o animado como Bart Simpson. No les interesa trabajar desde la nostalgia, pero si desde la iconografía con una visión resignificadora.
Cuentan con su propia sección en Radio Euskadi titulada “Jóvenes monstruosos” y en sus proyectos destacan colaboraciones con artistas como El Niño de Elche o Pedro G. Romero.

This duo of Argentinean artists have been living and working in Bilbao since 2019. Through their work they register and explore different movements of dissident youth identities of the underground, both current and past, going through their different ways of evolving and contradicting themselves over time, while analysing how these subcultures struggle to sustain and reinvent themselves.
Through photography, painting, drawing, performance and installation, they explore movements such as punk, queer and skater culture, creating works in which the different views of young people intertwine, appropriating the streets and manifesting themselves in society in a critical way.
Far from a naturalistic vision, they are not only interested in a documentary record of the historical part of these movements, but in the first person and from a place that plays between the bizarre and the sarcastic, they bring us closer to the small stories arising from the friendships they make in the skateparks of the cities they visit.
Punk and nineties icons are protagonists of his work, such as Larry Clark, Ed Templeton, Harmony Korine or Eloy de la Iglesia. These coexist in their imaginary with comic or animated characters such as Bart Simpson. They are not interested in working from nostalgia, but from iconography with a resignifying vision.
They have their own section on Radio Euskadi called "Young monsters" and their projects include collaborations with artists such as El Niño de Elche and Pedro G. Romero.
